A little piece of somewhere special.

Two collections, one love of beautiful things

Skye Tiles and Salcombe Ceramics bring together distinctive decorative ceramic picture tiles inspired by memorable places, natural beauty and artistic creativity. From Scotland's iconic landscapes and wildlife to the coastal charm of the West Country, each collection offers something special to enjoy, display or give.

Skye Tiles is our primary identity, with designs created in Scotland and inspired by the country's majestic islands, coastal scenery and wildlife. Incorporating the Salcombe Ceramics range means we can also offer tiles celebrating the harbours, boats and coastline of the West Country — all within one welcoming shop.

Craftsmanship & passion

Each tile is hand-painted with vibrant, durable ceramic glazes before being kiln-fired to a luminous, lasting finish that resists fading and moisture for generations. Our Skye Tiles designs are designed in Scotland — we don't claim they are manufactured here.

Our artists & photographers

We're sincerely grateful to the artists and photographers who supply the images and inspiration behind many of our designs. Their work helps us capture the spirit of these special places. You can read more on our Our Designs & Inspiration page.

Versatile display options

Our ceramic tiles come supplied with a soft velvet backing and an integrated fold-out easel / wall hanging hook. They can be displayed proudly on a shelf, desk, or mantlepiece, mounted on a wall, or used as kitchen and bathroom accent feature tiles by peeling away the soft backing.
